My current situation has given me the opportunity to explore what my future could look like. Though I am anxious to be more secure in my finances and living situation, I am grateful to explore the prospect of what I can do if I don’t cave in to fear. The older we get the more pressure there is to have a plan, a career, a house, a family. As an artist, I’ve just been too stubborn to concede. Instead, what I am learning, is that my defiance and mistakes, have given me the confidence to face my past and be fearless when looking toward the future. Most importantly I am learning to be present when I am overwhelmed, and faithful that one day it will all come together.
